On June 20, 2012, the Friends of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences visited the University Library. The Director of the University Library, Dr. Konschak, informed those present about the services, international contacts and the emergency network of museums, archives and libraries in Upper Lusatia initiated by the University Library.

Mr. Schwarzbach then gave an overview of the available electronic media and presented the work with databases. Following the presentations and demonstrations, the participants were given a tour of the library "on site".
