On May 15, the first alumni afternoon of the inclusion studies program took place on the campus in Görlitz - initiated as a student project.

In three themed rooms, six alumni came into conversation with students - including Ms. Thomas-Hopp, Prof. Dr. a. D. Manfred Jödecke, Ms. Manitz and Ms. Schröder. The participants reported from very different fields of work such as counseling, assistance, teaching, workshop context or freelance work. Graduates between 1996 and 2018 were represented.

The students had the opportunity to gain insights into various career paths in an open, honest exchange, ask questions and take away personal experiences. The networking table format was very well received - many conversations went far beyond the planned framework.

Afterwards, the afternoon ended with a small buffet in a relaxed atmosphere.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful day! The many positive responses show how valuable this exchange was - and that this is hopefully just the beginning of lively alumni work.
