First consultation of the Oberlausitz emergency network

On 11.12.2013, the Upper Lusatia Emergency Association held its first regular meeting since it was founded on 18.09.2013. It was hosted by the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History in Görlitz.

On 11.12.2013, the Upper Lusatia Emergency Association held its first regular meeting since it was founded on 18.09.2013. The Senckenberg Museum of Natural History in Görlitz hosted the meeting. The main content of the consultation was the presentation of the emergency management of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in its entirety and in particular the rescue plan of the Zittau University Library. Mr. Hülle, an occupational safety specialist, was invited as a guest speaker. He was able to give the institutions present many exemplary suggestions for drawing up their own emergency plans. Dr. Vogel, Deputy Chairman of the Dresden Emergency Association, also gave a presentation on the equipment and access to the use of the purchased emergency train for the protection of cultural property.
Following the consultation, which was led by the Director of the University Library, Dr. Konschak, the Director of the Senckenberg Museum Library invited everyone to take a tour of her facility.
