Brochure on the DEAL initiative published
In a recent publication, the DEAL consortium provides information on the first phase of the DEAL contracts from 2019-2023 with the publishers SpringerNature and Wiley. In addition to the background and objectives of the DEAL initiative, the results and progress of open access publishing in Germany are presented using informative graphics. The publication market and the information supply of scientific institutions are also highlighted and basic information on open access publishing is provided.

The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences participates in the open access transformation agreements between the DEAL consortium and the publishers Elsevier, SpringerNature and Wiley. In addition to the possibility for HSZG members to publish in Open Access, the agreements enable reading access to almost all journal content on the platforms of the three publishers.
