The Stiftung Buchkunst has been organizing the competition for the most beautiful German books for 62 years. This year, they can once again be seen in the University Library in Zittau.
In the categories
- general literature,
- academic books/school books/textbooks,
- guidebooks/non-fiction,
- art books/photobooks/exhibition catalogs and
- children's books/youth books
, 5 books will be awarded in each category.
From these 25 books, a jury of experts will select the most beautiful book. This year, 2 books shared this prize. One is "Sixtina MMXII" and the other is "My little forest".
Let yourself be surprised and visit the University Library! The award-winning books are on display until May 14, 2014.
