Access includes journals from the fields of psychology and psychiatry in German or English. In addition, corresponding authors of the HSZG can publish Open Access articles in the journals via the Publish & Read agreement.
The portal includes international, national and regional daily newspapers and magazines from 120 countries, including numerous lifestyle and special interest titles. It includes Sächsische Zeitung, Die Welt, Der Tagesspiegel, ZEIT Sprachen, Focus, Guter Rat, PC Welt and many more.
The database offers access to electronic journals from the JSTOR Archival Journals and Primary Sources Collection and to e-books up to the year of publication 2022. It contains publications from numerous subject areas such as social and economic sciences, media and communication sciences, law, psychology and many more.
The specialist portal with the integrated SOLEX database contains over 200 laws and ordinances at federal and state level. In addition to articles on social benefits, proposed legislation and case law, it also contains calculator tools, e.g. for citizens' allowance, care allowance, housing benefit, etc.
All e-books in the Kohlhammer eLibrary will be made available in 2025. These include titles from the fields of medicine, nursing and healthcare, psychology, education, cultural studies, sociology, law and economics.
The Nomos eLibrary provides e-books from the fields of economics, social economy, social work, sociology, social law, cultural studies and history, media/communication studies, education, psychology, psychotherapy, medicine and health as well as medical law.

The utb elibrary provides access to the digital textbooks of the utb publishing association with titles from the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences and economics.
Access to e-books published by Oxford University Press has been extended until 31.03.2025 as part of the Saxony Consortium.
