On July 1, 2022, many scientific institutions in Upper Lusatia will present lectures, guided tours, talks, games, experiments, puzzles and more at various locations in Görlitz and Zittau.

The event is a good way to immerse yourself in the impressive world of science, make it easier to choose a course of study and take a look behind the scenes of our scientific institutions. It brings research to life and shows the exciting sides. For adults and children to marvel, wonder and dream a little.

The LaNDER³ partnership also opens its doors and provides exciting insights into the topics of fiber extraction, fiber processing, energy-efficient production of natural fiber composites, recycling and reuse. At the Natural Fiber Center, researchers will answer the question of how an important contribution can be made to climate protection and saving valuable resources. The tour takes place in small groups and includes a hands-on activity.
