We received terrible news on Saturday. The newly renovated Tivoli sports hall burned down completely at the weekend, and sports equipment from the sports center could not be saved. The shock is still deeply felt by all users of the sports hall and especially by the Free Evangelical Community of Görlitz (owner). We wish the FEG-Görlitz a lot of strength for the coming tasks and of course offer our full support.

We are now working with the city of Görlitz, the university management and the Sächsisches Immobilien- und Baumanagement (SIB) to find alternatives at short notice. We and your course instructors will keep you up to date via circular emails. We therefore ask all university sports participants to check their university e-mail regularly.
