On Monday, 25.01.2016, students from the Faculty of Marketing and Logistics of the Belarusian State University of Economics in Minsk visited our Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering Management.
The 15 students were accompanied by their Dean, ass. Prof. Dr. Aleksandr Tsygankow, and DAAD staff member Lars Schmidt. The trip took a bus to several higher education institutions in Germany. The students were already able to communicate in German.
At the reception by Prof. Mario Straßberger, Dean of Faculty W, information was provided on the possibility of studying at two locations. This is possible thanks to a double degree agreement, for example in the Business Administration course.
Dipl.-Ing.-Ök. Gabriele Schröter explained the "business game" teaching concept, in which student teams virtually manage companies and compete against each other.
The modern lending system of the university library and the laboratory for design and media were well received by the visitors, as was the canteen.
A tour of Zittau with Prof. Tomlow, ERASMUS departmental coordenator of Faculty W, rounded off the successful visit.
