In recent weeks, Schomäcker has replaced the X-Print printing and cost accounting system previously used for public printers/copiers with the new Q Pilot product.
Since 01.02.2012, the Q Pilot system has been available via one server in Zittau and one in Görlitz and allows printing according to the "FollowMe" principle. The print job is stored on the server after entering the chip card number. The printout is then made after authentication with your own chip card at any printer/copier in the selected printer group. As with copying, the costs are charged via the credit on the chip card (for students) or the cost center (for employees).

Previous installations of the XPrint client on employee workstations, in pools and laptops can continue to be used.
However, it is recommended to install the new clients and drivers as soon as possible.
