The WIAM® METALLINFO materials database is now available under a new name and with new functions as the Materials Portal.

The database of IMA Materialforschung und Anwendungstechnik GmbH Dresden (Applus+ Laboratories) contains extensive materials data and offers support for materials research and development processes.

The new materials database includes more than 10,000 materials and 180,000 modifications as well as 2 million parameters from various industry sources.
In addition to material models and CAE plug-ins, representative data such as flow curves, stress-strain diagrams and fatigue behavior of materials are provided. The materials can be compared with each other in terms of their material properties. The database also provides standards, regulations and supplier information.
