Joint exhibition by Helga and Ulrich Pilz in Zittau
Helga Pilz' intention for this exhibition:
Representation of my working method in watercolor
with experimental color application
between transparent and opaque,
with papers of different weights and manufacturers
and with chemical additives.
The challenge is a technological cocktail
of several time sequences
between ink application, drying and fixing.
At the same time
the focus is on the different ways of depicting structures and
highlighting characteristic details.
We would like to invite all those interested in art to a new exhibition at the Zittau University Library.
Helga Pilz presents watercolors and mixed techniques with floral and abstract motifs.
Ulrich Pilz shows photographic enlargements of watercolor image sections to emphasize the filigree strokes and colorful differentiated design.
The exhibition can be seen until the end of the year during opening hours on the upper floor of the Zittau University Library.
