Graduates in practice

The office of the Saxony Tourism Association offers many opportunities for graduates and students.

Since November 1, 2014, Mandy Eibenstein has been a new face in the office of the Saxony State Tourism Association. Mandy, who dealt with the Quality City approach as part of the nationwide ServiceQualität Deutschland initiative in her Master's thesis in tourism and examined prospects for its further development, is delighted that the LTV Saxony office chose her.

The trainee position ties in directly with my practical orientation. This gives me the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into the association's work and tourism structures."

The State Tourism Association of Saxony is involved in tourism training and works closely with our university. Now in its fifth year, it offers graduates from universities of applied sciences and universities the opportunity to become a trainee with project-related tasks. Mandy impressed us with her skills and stood out from the large number of applicants.

Incidentally, Mandy is not the first graduate of the Tourism degree program from Görlitz. Andrea Kis, Policy Officer, Cathleen Nebrich and Stefanie Speck, Quality, Education & Innovation Officers, and Anja Renner, Press and Public Relations Officer, are also graduates of the
Master's degree program in Tourism at our faculty.

P.S. to all interested students: LTV Saxony is once again offering internships this year at
