In connection with the nationwide DEAL negotiations, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will no longer have a valid Elsevier journal contract from January 2019.

Access to Elsevier content will then only be available for the publisher's open access journals, individual open access articles in closed access journals and older articles including the publication year 2014 for some of the journals.

As a university library, we ensure access to the missing articles via document delivery services.

However, access to the content of the publishers Springer Nature and Wiley, which are also in DEAL negotiations, will also be available in the coming year. Due to the significant progress made in the negotiations, transitional agreements will be concluded in each case.
