The "ZDF-Morgenmagazin" leaves its studio and travels to Zittau to talk directly to citizens.
On Friday, May 10, 2019, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., presenter Mitri Sirin will be reporting live from the market in Zittau every half hour. The topic: "Everyday Europe - Life in the border triangle". The evening before, ZDF will be taking part in a "Citizens' Dialogue" to discuss the topic and answer questions from Zittau residents. Citizens are cordially invited to both free events.

What do you like and dislike about the ZDF program? How can ZDF improve? Does the media capture the reality of people's lives?
ZDF editor-in-chief Peter Frey, presenter Mitri Sirin, regional studio manager Michael Bewerunge and Andreas Wunn, head of the "ZDF-Morgenmagazin" and "ZDF-Mittagsmagazin" editorial teams, will provide insights into ZDF's reporting.
They will be fielding questions and criticism from the people of Zittau and, together with the Sächsische Zeitung, invite you to an open discussion.

Shortly before the European elections, we ask what everyday life is like in the border region and what influence European decisions have on local life.
Presenter Mitri Sirin will be discussing this with Zittau citizens and politicians live on location every half hour on "ZDF-Morgenmagazin". Zittau's Lord Mayor Thomas Zenker is expected to take part in the discussion live on location.
