How can interactive tools be used to teach course content in engineering degree programmes in a good and engaging way? How can I get students excited about new software solutions and VR/AR? Can I learn how to operate the machine just as well using the virtual injection molding machine in my VR environment as I would on a real machine?
These and similar questions will be explored, further developed, and tested with students in collaboration with partners from industry, research, and education. The position specifically requires the following qualifications:
- Development and testing of digital teaching methods in higher education for the field of plastics engineering/lightweight construction,
- Testing and implementing new, digital educational concepts in HZSG classes (lectures, internships, seminars, workshops),
- Preparing HZSG course content using interactive tools, e.g., VR/AR,
- Attending subject-related events (trade shows, conferences, etc.) to expand knowledge and publicize the innovative teaching concept,
- Ongoing coordination and close collaboration with partner institutions.
The following knowledge and skills are required
- A university degree in a technical, natural science, or Social Sciences department,
- Experience in designing classes / courses, seminars, workshops, or similar events,
- Good written and spoken English skills.
In addition, the following are desirable:
- Experience working with digital media,
- Graphic design skills,
- Knowledge and experience in project management.

Salary will be paid up to Pay Grade 13 of the TV-L collective bargaining agreement, provided the candidate meets the personal and professional requirements. The primary place of work is Zittau.
