TRAWOS Institute presents results on how young people stay in the region.
At the press conference in the district administration office on March 24, 2017, the TRAWOS Institute presented its findings on the whereabouts of young people in the region
Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Raj Kollmorgen and Prof. Ulrike Gräßel, the TRAWOS Institute at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences investigated the migration and whereabouts of young adults between the ages of 16 and 40. The cooperation project with the district of Görlitz aimed to record the chances of qualified women in particular to remain in the region and to develop recommendations for action and measures to keep good educated women in the region. In addition to pupils at grammar schools, students at the HSZG were also surveyed in a representative online survey.
The results were presented to the public and the press on March 24, 2017 together with Heike Zettwitz, head of the district administration, and Ines Fabisch, Equal Opportunities Officer.
