On May 23, builders, designers, and enthusiasts of half-timbered houses gathered for an evening lecture on the topic of thermal insulation in half-timbered houses. The event was hosted by the Half-Timbered House Information Center at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. The lecture hall was good in attendance, and moderator Prof. Thomas Worbs welcomed approximately 70 interested participants. The organizers would like to thank the speakers—Diplom-Ökonom Ralf Felgenträger, Diplom-Ing. Matthias Illner, and Dr.-Ing. Liane Vogel—as well as all attendees for the interesting discussions and the exchange of experiences.

The series of annual lecture evenings, which began in May 2017 with the topic of heating systems in half-timbered houses, will continue in May 2019. The lecture topics will be selected from suggestions made by the participants.
