Three pioneering HSZG projects impress at the Görlitz district school conference.
The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences was a key speaker at this year's school conference in the district of Görlitz on September 26 with three forward-looking projects:
The school conference took place in the Energy CoWorking Space in Görlitz with almost 60 participants from all types of schools. The education and sports department of the district of Görlitz and the education service center of the Entwicklungsgesellschaft Niederschlesische Oberlausitz mbH (ENO) had invited to present the diverse possibilities of the district of Görlitz and important partners. Ms. Kieschnick, Head of the Görlitz District Education and Sports Office, Ms. Heublein (Head of the ENO Education Service Centre) and Ms. Wild-Noisten (ENO Project Manager) gave presentations.
The contributions of the HSZG were very well received by those present. In particular, the triad of the campus app, the computer science school network and the wide range of orientation offers for pupils shows the HSZG's determination to make a comprehensive commitment to the future of young people in our region.
The Vice-Rector's message to schools was therefore: "With the Oberlausitz Future Learning Location, we are realizing our mission as a university to continuously promote innovative extracurricular educational opportunities for all types of schools that can be used by pupils at an early stage. In doing so, we are supporting the common goal of all stakeholders to prepare young people for their transition into the world of work while they are still at school."
Ronald Lindecke from the district parents' council wrote in his Facebook post about the projects presented by the HSZG: "Very well thought-out constructs were presented, they could have a pioneering character and indeed effectively and sustainably counteract the shortage of teachers."
