Project employee "MINOS assembly" - (m/f/d) - Keyword: - MINOS -

The MINOS STEM cluster aims to spark children’s interest, enthusiasm, and talent for science, technology, and research. To ensure the long-term success of this initiative, an umbrella brand for STEM education in Eastern Saxony will be developed during the 2024–2025 funding phase. The position holder (m/f/d) will be responsible in particular for the following tasks:

• Developing an umbrella brand for extracurricular STEM education in Eastern Saxony in close alignment with existing strategic initiatives, such as ZUKLOS
  • Developing strategic sustainability scenarios with corresponding organizational and funding structures in close collaboration with cluster management and network partners,
  • Brand development, including the following steps: brand naming to distinguish the brand from competitors or to establish a joint positioning; brand positioning to differentiate achievements; description of the target audience and its needs; a marketing strategy to establish the brand; visual identity;
    
• Raising awareness of extracurricular educational offerings in Eastern Saxony
  • Development of an online booking feature for extracurricular educational programs in Eastern Saxony,
  • Concept for the medium- and long-term establishment of the aforementioned umbrella brand,
    
• Organization of three extracurricular camps for children and youth ages 12 to 18:
  • In collaboration with members of the HSZG and extracurricular partners, thematic camps (e.g., Energy Camp) are prepared for young researchers and held in Eastern Saxony,
  • Documentation and public relations,

• Networking with partners from business, schools, clubs, academia, and public institutions within the regional STEM cluster,
• Preparation of project reports.

The following knowledge and skills are required:

• A completed college degree, preferably in a scientific field, relevant to the tasks listed above (university Master’s degree/university Diplom, or an accredited Master’s degree from a university of applied sciences),
• Professional experience or extensive experience in the use of digital media and content development,
• Ability to think strategically, a confident demeanor, and assertiveness,
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary stakeholders at the intersection of education and business,
• Pedagogical or subject-specific teaching skills when working with students,
• You have a knack for writing science-based texts,
• Experience in event management and conducting your own workshops,
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team,
• A valid driver’s license.

In addition, the following are desirable:

• knowledge of school programs, educational projects, and partnerships in the field of education,
• practical work experience in a school or educational setting,
• familiarity with regional stakeholders, networks, and potential collaboration partners in the education sector,
• knowledge of project management,
• knowledge of the research region of Eastern Saxony as well as regional structural change,
• Experience in using and designing media with high public impact.
