Start of the new work phase
The Personnel Development Commission III begins its work and supports the implementation of the personnel development concept and the target agreement with the SMWK.
On April 29, 2025, the third Commission for Personnel Development at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences began its new term. At the first meeting, the committee members—Mr. Duscha, Prof. Stolz-Römmermann, Prof. Sadowski, Ms. Ahrens, and Ms. Kallweit—were appointed by Prof. Kratzsch on behalf of the University Executive Board for a term ending in 2030.
The committee plays a central role in the university’s strategic development: It oversees the implementation of the staff development plan as well as the agreement on objectives with the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture, and Tourism (SMWK). In addition, it provides impetus in areas such as staff qualification, the promotion of early-career faculty, and attractive working conditions. Another task is to update the staff development plan through the end of 2026.
The first meeting featured an in-depth discussion of achievements to date and future challenges. Together, the participants identified new areas of focus that will be prioritized at the next meeting on August 15, 2025.
Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences thanks all commission members for their commitment and looks forward to the groundbreaking ideas they will bring in the coming years.
