The position (m/f/d) specifically involves the following responsibilities:
- Mail handling, scheduling, and planning,
- Receiving and forwarding requests for appointments, as well as handling standard office communications (e.g., in person, by phone, email, etc.) and providing information,
- Providing administrative support for consultations, events, and projects (preparation and follow-up, room and schedule coordination, preparing invoices, clerical work, and taking minutes),
- Storage and archiving of official documents,
- Copying, procurement, and management of office supplies,
- Monitoring the Student Council’s budget, including verifying incoming invoices,
- Supporting the departments,
- Participation in representative events (both on campus and off campus) as well as
- Maintaining the Student Council’s website.
The following knowledge and skills are required:
- Completed business training or equivalent,
- Experience in administration and business processes,
- A communicative and open-minded personality,
- Ability to work effectively in a team, reliably, and independently,
- Good command of German; sufficient command of English,
- Professional demeanor and appearance,
- Organizational skills.
In addition, the following are desirable:
- additional language skills as well as
- practical experience using relevant PC office applications.
Salary for employees covered by the collective bargaining agreement will be in Pay Grade 5 of the TV-L, provided the candidate meets the professional requirements. The primary place of work is Görlitz. A probationary period will be agreed upon. Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences strives for a balanced workforce and therefore welcomes applications from individuals of all genders.
