Teacher for special tasks (m/f/d) - Childhood Education - Reference: 03-2025 LfbA F-S

In accordance with § 78 of the Law on Universities in the Free State of Saxony (SächsHSG), the position includes the following tasks in particular:

• Preparation, implementation and follow-up of courses as well as practical advice in the Childhood Education degree program with a focus on
  - child development and educational design in the motor, linguistic, social-emotional and cognitive areas,
  - empirical social research as well as professional field-related application of research methods,
  - scientific work.
• Advising students on technical and organizational issues relating to their studies,
• Participation in meetings within the degree program and the faculty (exchange within the degree program, working group and staff meetings) and in central events.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Completed university degree in childhood education,
• social, intercultural and communication skills, the ability to work in a team and
• relevant practical experience.

The following are also desirable

• Regional cooperation references, e.g. from practical experience,
• Willingness to participate in tasks and activities of other degree programs and the faculty,
• Knowledge of university didactics and experience in university teaching and adult education,
• knowledge of university-related structures and processes and
• Experience in committee and public relations work.
