Mouse flavored cat food?

Campus on Tour: Prof. Munkwitz gives Hamburg students insights into storytelling in cultural marketing.

Many high school graduates dream of a creative job in the cultural sector. But what do you have to study to get it? On June 30, around 110 students from the Ida Ehre School in Hamburg will have the opportunity to ask a professor of culture and management questions about his subject and his university.

Why doesn't cat food come in mouse flavor? Professor Dr. Matthias Munkwitz from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences uses this question to provide insights into the

With his lecture on storytelling in cultural marketing, he wants to show the students at Ida Ehre School job prospects in the cultural and creative industries - and draw their attention to the advantages of East German universities.

"It's worth looking beyond the country's borders when choosing where to study. Many eastern German universities offer excellent study conditions. Students at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, for example, benefit from first-class educational opportunities, intensive support and modern facilities," says Professor Munkwitz.

The event is part of the "Campus on Tour" campaign, which is organized by the international university marketing campaign "My Campus by Studying in the Far East".

Prof. Dr. Tino Schütte was already on the road with "Campus on Tour" on 16 June and, together with campus specialist Johannes Herbrig, gave a taster lecture at the Hanse School for Business and Administration in Lübeck on how building energy balances are drawn up and what the industrial engineering degree course

deals with. He gave around 80 students from technical and vocational secondary schools an insight into technical and economic contexts and the

in the eastern German states.

"The universities in eastern Germany offer very good study conditions. Those who study at the HSZG, for example, usually find a job quickly after graduation thanks to our good reputation and our intensive contacts with industry," said Professor Schütte.
