How does it work? Apply now for a Deutschlandstipendium at your university in Zittau/Görlitz by August 16, 2021.
Applications for a Deutschlandstipendium must be submitted exclusively online. On our Deutschlandstipendium website for students, you’ll find the online application portal provided by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It will remain open until August 16, 2021 (11:59 p.m.) .
Your application must be fully uploaded to the application portal by that time, including all required attachments. Only then will it be considered valid and processed accordingly.

Apply and become one of our anniversary scholarship recipients. This year, the Deutschlandstipendium is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has been a part of it from the very beginning.
Even if your social involvement in clubs and organizations or your active participation in university committees, for example, has been put on hold due to the pandemic, it’s always worth submitting an application.
What exactly is the Germany Scholarship again?
The Deutschlandstipendium supports talented and dedicated students at our university. While good grades and academic performance are important, social engagement and special personal achievements—such as successfully overcoming obstacles in your educational journey or your volunteer work in organizations—ALSO count when awards are made. Or perhaps you’ve already been showered with prizes and awards for your very special talent? In addition to your achievements, the focus is on your personality.
The Germany Scholarship amounts to 300 euros per month. Of this amount, 150 euros are provided by private sponsors such as companies, foundations, alumni, and other private individuals. The remaining 150 euros are provided by the federal government. The Germany Scholarship is paid directly to the scholarship recipients by the universities. The grant is awarded regardless of income and can also be received in addition to BAföG (German financial aid for students). The standard award period covers one academic year (September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022).
