You can only apply for a Deutschlandstipendium scholarship online. The online application portal provided by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research is available on our Deutschlandstipendium website for students. It is open until August 16, 2021 (11:59 p.m.) .
Your application must be completely uploaded to the application portal with all necessary attachments by then. Only then will it be valid and processed accordingly.

Apply and become one of our anniversary scholarship holders. The Deutschlandstipendium is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. And Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has been involved from the very beginning.
Even if social commitment in clubs and associations or active participation, e.g. in internal university committees, should be put on hold due to the pandemic, it is always worth applying.
The Deutschlandstipendium supports talented and committed students at our university. In addition to good grades or academic achievements, social commitment and special personal achievements - such as successfully overcoming hurdles in your own educational biography or your voluntary work in associations - also count towards the award. The Deutschlandstipendium is worth 300 euros per month. 150 of this is provided by private sponsors such as companies, foundations, alumni and other private individuals. The other 150 euros are paid by the federal government. The Deutschlandstipendium is paid directly to the scholarship holders by the universities. The funding is awarded irrespective of income and can also be received in addition to BAföG. The regular approval period covers one academic year (01.09.2021 - 31.08.2022).
