The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is looking to fill a position (40 hours/week) in the central University Data Centre (HRZ) at the earliest possible date as an

IT-Administrator Campus.Connect² (m/f/d)
- Reference: 57-2025 BundID Technology -

to be filled for a limited period until 31.10.2027.

The Campus.Connect² project serves to pilot and integrate the BundID and the EUDI wallet into the University Administration. The tasks include the following key areas:

Technical support for the BundID integration:

  • Architecture and specification consulting: provision of technical expertise on common identity and authentication protocols (e.g. OIDC/SAML) for the secure connection of external ID providers to internal systems (e.g. HISinONE and Formcycle).
  • Data protection and governance: Technical support for user and data mapping processes and data processing to ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) and legal requirements.

Support for BundID mailbox and ZBP dispatch:

  • Process and configuration consulting: technical support for the implementation and configuration of central digital mailbox and delivery components (e.g. ZBP dispatch) in the HISinONE administration system.
  • Legal compliance: Validating and ensuring that the digital delivery processes meet the requirements of e-government and the digital administrative act.

EUDI wallet and verifiable credentials (VCs):

  • Standard expertise: consulting on the design and modeling of digital proofs (Verifiable Credentials/VCs) based on current and future European frameworks (e.g. EUDI-Wallet, eIDAS 2.0).
  • Implementation support: Provision of technical input for the implementation of the issuer components for the cryptographic generation and signing of these digital certificates.

Coordination and interoperability:

  • Interoperabilityand coordination: maintaining the professional and technical exchange with external pilot projects and relevant bodies to ensure interoperability and exploit synergies.
  • Knowledge management and risk: Acting as a central knowledge base, conducting technical reviews and risk assessments to ensure the technical stability and long-term viability of the solutions.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • University degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable degree program,
  • relevant professional experience,
  • sound knowledge of e-government / BundID / EUDI wallet,
  • knowledge of the specifications and standards for the EUDI wallet and verifiable credentials/VCs,
  • practical experience with university information systems, ideally with HISinOne and/or digital form management systems such as Formcycle,
  • Proven experience in the analysis, design and implementation of secure interfaces (e.g. REST, SAML, OIDC) and digital identity solutions,
  • Ability to plan and manage sub-projects in a structured manner and to document processes and results.

The following are also desirable

  • Experience with IT documentation and process management.
