For a good start to your studies
With the Come in weeks, we prepare our first semester students for their studies at the HSZG.
Many admission documents have already been mailed out, and the invitation to the formal enrolment ceremony is currently being prepared for mailing. The start of the 2021 academic year is fast approaching.
To help you start your studies in a good manner, we’re offering our “Come In” Weeks. This year, they’ll take place from September 13 to 28, 2021 . You can look forward to a varied program of preparatory courses and recreational activities.
You can choose from preparatory courses in mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, and chemistry at the Zittau campus, as well as preparatory courses in mathematics and computer science at the Görlitz campus. The goal is to refresh your knowledge in the respective subjects and bring you and your fellow students up to the same level of understanding.
In addition to studying, there are also various recreational activities during the “Come In” Weeks—ranging from guided tours of Zittau and Görlitz to a cozy evening at the student clubs and a hike in the Zittau Mountains. This is a great opportunity to make your first connections with fellow students from your own semester as well as those in higher semesters.
Like the winter semester, the “Come In” weeks are primarily planned to take place in person. However, changes due to COVID-19 are possible.
