On December 15, 2015, the Chemistry Christmas Show Lecture of the
Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences
A play was performed in which Egon and his Olsen Gang tried to crack the safe on the Zittau campus. Numerous chemistry experiments prepared by the chemistry students were integrated into the play. A multitude of witty dialogues paired with lightning, fire and smoke, color games, flying table tennis balls and an impressive final fireworks display were presented to the audience. The Chancellor of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences - Ms. Karin Hollstein - and Professor Klaus Seibt also made guest appearances.
