Dresden, Leipzig, Cottbus: three dual KIA students from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences win the title of Chamber Best.
One of the undisputed advantages of the dual KIA course is the opportunity to obtain a skilled worker or journeyman's certificate at the same time as studying. As the training now takes two and a half years instead of three and a half and is completed in parallel with the degree course, you can certainly see the catch.
It is therefore not to be taken for granted that our KIA students are also attracting attention here with top performances. This year, we are particularly pleased that our KIA class of 2016 scored three times and won the title of best in the chamber:
Felix Hegewald is studying automation technology and mechatronics at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and trained as a mechatronics technician at BASF Schwarzheide GmbH. With 93 points, he was the best in his profession in South Brandenburg.
Our KIA Jan Hartung completed his vocational training as an electrical systems fitter at Highvolt Dresden GmbH and was one of the 28 trainees in the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce area to pass his skilled worker examination with a grade of "very good" with the grade "very good". He is studying for a degree in Electrical Energy Systems.
Valentin Reinhardt: Finally, third among the best KIAs was Valentin Reinhardt. He is studying automation technology and mechatronics and was honored as the best examinee in the Leipzig region in the apprenticeship as an electronics technician specializing in energy and building services engineering at the journeyman's ceremony in the Alte Handelsbörse in Leipzig, which was held by the Leipzig Electrical Guild.
We are delighted for the award winners and congratulate them warmly. Ultimately, this result is also proof of the excellent quality of the dual study program at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
