Cooperation creates great things

500 education experts from Saxony and across Germany will gather from March 9 to 11, 2023, in Görlitz, the “City of Europe ,” for the conference “TOGETHER – Shaping Educational Landscapes – Connecting Partners – Living Inclusion.” The conference is organized by Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences on behalf of the Saxon State Ministry of Culture.

Given the increasing diversity among children and young people, as well as growing societal challenges, the demands placed on education and upbringing can only be met through collaboration. The conference aims to highlight the importance of cross-institutional collaboration and active networks among stakeholders in educational landscapes. To this end, expert presentations will be given and workshops will be held.

Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer will open the conference on March 9. The congress will conclude with a trialogue between Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs Christian Piwarz, renowned education researcher Prof. Kai Maaz (DIPF – Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education), and school principal Antje Ambos (Dohna High School).
