Görlitz congress to strengthen the concept of networking in educational work
500 education experts from Saxony and all over Germany will meet from March 9 to 11, 2023 in the European city of Görlitz at the "GEMEINSAM - Bildungslandschaften gestalten - Partner vernetzen - Inklusion leben" congress. The congress is being organized by the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences on behalf of the Saxon State Ministry of Culture.
In view of the increasing heterogeneity of children and young people as well as growing social challenges, the demand for education and upbringing can only be met by working together. The congress aims to highlight the importance of cross-institutional cooperation and active networks of stakeholders in educational landscapes. To this end, expert presentations will be held and workshops will take place.
Minister President Michael Kretschmer will open the congress on March 9. A trialogue between Minister of Education Christian Piwarz, the renowned educational scientist Prof. Kai Maaz (DIPF - Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education) and the principal Antje Ambos (Dohna secondary school) will form the degree of the congress.
