Completion of the basic course "Systemic work in child and youth welfare - educational support" (150 WE*) or a comparable basic course. These graduates will be given preference.

Participation in the advanced course must be approved informally (verbally) by the course instructors.

The Institute for Systemic Work (ISA) in Chemnitz is responsible for the course content:

May 27–29, 2021: No class sessions for this continuing education program
July 1–3, 2021: “Role/Pattern” module
September 9–11, 2021: “Supervision” module
November 11–13, 2021: “Specific Topic” module
Jan. 6–8, 2022: “Grief and Loss” module
Mar. 7–9, 2022: Final moduleDaily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; on the last day of a block session, until 4:30 p.m.
Total course load: 150 WE*
Requirements (in addition to participation in the modules):
- 1. Documentation of a counseling session (live, video, or audio)
- Process coaching during the course: at least 1 supervision case
- 50 LE* of intervision (in addition to the 50 LE* of intervision already completed in the basic course)
- 25 LE* of professional literature/independent study (in addition to the 25 LE* already earned in the basic course)
- 80–150 hours of documented independent counseling practice (e.g., employer confirmation; depending on certification)

Degree in the Continuing Education Program
Upon completion of all modules of the basic and advanced courses, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will issue a degree designating the graduate as a “Systemic Consultant.” With this degree, students may apply for the DGsP umbrella organization certificate, which is subject to a fee.

Costs
1,450.00 Total price for all modules of the advanced course and the certificate.
The costs will be invoiced, pro rata cost sharing and payment in installments are also possible. This will be communicated in the 1st module.
