d-you - Wallet
The d-you-Wallet is Germany’s government-issued wallet for the European Digital Identity (EUDI-Wallet)—a digital wallet on your smartphone. It allows users to verify their identity online and in person, as well as securely receive, store, and present digital documents. Possible uses include, for example, conducting business with government agencies online, opening bank accounts, or submitting supporting documents with applications. You decide for yourself which data to share. Use of the wallet is voluntary; the first version will be available in early 2027. At Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, the d-you Wallet can be used for digital identity verification on eCampus. In addition, you can receive various documents from the university directly in your Wallet. This way, you have your documents available on your smartphone and can submit them as needed to entities that support digital documentation.
