The Department of High-Voltage Technology / Materials Science / Theoretical Electrical Engineering at HSZG is offering to host a postdoc with a Horizon 2020 MSCA Individual Fellowship to participate in the group's research projects.

General outline of the idea/position

• Materials Science: Electrical and dielectric properties under DC and AC field stress
• Optimization of polymeric materials for DC and AC stress
• Development of test methods
• Interfaces in insulation systems: Behavior and interactions of solid-gas (insulators, pollution layer flashover, etc.) and solid-solid (cables and cable accessories) interfaces
• Technical Diagnostics: Development of unconventional and new approaches to measurement and evaluation instruments to support the research topic

Deadline for expressing interest

No later than two months prior to the deadline of the respective call.
