The IPM was delighted to receive a visit from LEAG from the "Maintenance Management Power Plants" division.
As part of the Oberlausitzer Energie-Symposium 2017 specialist event on the topic of "Maintenance Management", contacts were established with LEAG's "Power Plant Maintenance Management" department.
One initial result was a visit by LEAG colleagues to the Zittau university site and a tour of the Zittau power plant laboratory (ZKWL) and the university's energy technology cabinet (ETK) on 21.11.2017.
At the ZKWL, the IPM provided information about current activities in third-party funded research in the field of energy and the environment. The tour focused on the test stands for energy storage (THERESA and TCV) and the test stand for magnetic bearing technology (MFLP).
In addition to technological issues, aspects of maintenance were also discussed.
The events serve to exchange information and contribute to intensifying cooperation between industry and science.
