The HSCG collects personal data in interviews as part of a research project for the purpose of pre-testing a questionnaire module on experiences of discrimination at the HSCG. By evaluating the personal data collected, the aim is to determine how different groups of people understand the questions and answer categories of the questionnaire module. Based on these results, improved formulations for questions and answer categories will be developed.
The answers given by the participants in the interviews constitute personal data that are processed by the HSCG as part of the research project. The following categories of personal data are processed for the aforementioned purposes.
The processing of personal data from the interviews is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of informed consent. If special categories of personal data are processed in accordance with Art. 9 para. 1 GD PR, this is done on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR.
The HSCG only discloses personal data to the following internal recipients for the purposes of this processing activity:
The HSZG does not directly transfer personal data to a third country or an international organization.
Without prejudice to your right to erasure(Art. 17 GDPR), the data will be stored for the duration of the fulfillment of their collection purposes until the end of the winter semester 2023/24

The provision of personal data is not required by law or contract in accordance with Art. 13 (2) lit. e GDPR.
