Workshop "Future skills for the semiconductor industry: designing the skills profile of tomorrow's graduates"

The Vice President for Education and International Affairs at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Professor Sophia Keil, invites companies in the semiconductor industry to the Zittau campus on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, to participate in a workshop aimed at jointly identifying the industry’s specific requirements and needs regarding the skill profiles of tomorrow’s graduates.

The workshop will focus on practical discussions and an exchange of ideas between university representatives and industry experts. Through keynote presentations and interactive sessions, the goal is to identify companies’ expectations and needs regarding the necessary specialized, interdisciplinary, and practical skills of future graduates. These findings will play a key role in shaping the university’s new degree programs currently under development, ensuring a practical and future-oriented education.

With the participation of experienced speakers from academia and industry, the workshop offers a valuable platform for knowledge transfer and for strengthening collaboration between the university and industry.

We cordially invite all interested companies in the semiconductor industry to participate in this important discussion and contribute their expertise. Together, we will shape the future of education for the semiconductor industry!
