Major initiatives such as semiconductor manufacturing in Dresden, astrophysics research at the DZA in Görlitz, new facilities established by Fraunhofer and DLR, or new research projects at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences often seem far removed from small and medium-sized enterprises. But this is exactly where we come in: What opportunities are opening up for regional SMEs? Where are concrete points of intersection emerging?
