Emails that get lost in convoluted sentences, unclear expectations regarding response times, or unsettling misunderstandings: Communication in everyday work life often takes an incredible amount of energy. Yet clear and efficient communication doesn’t have to be rude or distant.
In this workshop, we’ll provide guidance. We’ll explore how to achieve open, transparent, and at the same time approachable communication in everyday life. You’ll learn which unwritten rules provide guidance in professional interactions—for example, regarding availability, commitment, or consciously avoiding unnecessary nested sentences.
But what happens when the tone shifts? When criticism is voiced, accusations are made, or you’re confronted with bias, hate, and incitement? This is precisely where the greatest uncertainties arise in practice. That’s why we’ll focus extensively on handling turbulent situations: We’ll discuss specific courses of action for when things get serious, so you can set clear boundaries, remain objective, and proceed step by step to shift from a defensive stance back to taking active action.
What you can expect:
By the end of the workshop, you’ll know the tried-and-true rules of communication and have a strong foundation to make your day-to-day work easier and stay steadfast even in difficult conflicts.
This workshop will be recorded and will be available for 3 days afterward.
