Here's what you can expect

Whether it’s a necessary critical conversation, setting a clear boundary, or a deadlocked situation: We often put off difficult conversations for a long time. The fear of emotional reactions or of losing our train of thought causes anxiety.

In practice, conversations can’t be planned or controlled down to the smallest detail—because the person you’re talking to rarely reacts according to the textbook. What you can actively control, however, is your own preparation and mindset.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use proven coaching methods to organize your thoughts and position yourself in a good way—both mentally and in terms of content. We’ll explore tried-and-true tools that will help you shift your perspective, clarify your own goals, and approach potential dynamics with greater composure.

What to expect:

  • Clarifying Goals & Perspectives: How to define your minimum and desired goals for the conversation and use methods to adopt your counterpart’s point of view.
  • Preparation Methods: Practical tools to resolve emotional entanglements and gain an objective view of the situation.
  • Inner Attitude & Setting Boundaries: How to gain clarity about your own boundaries without mentally exhausting yourself beforehand.
  • Approaching the Conversation: What to look out for in high-pressure situations and how to give yourself a moment to think if things get intense.
  • Reflection & Follow-Up: How to evaluate your experience after the meeting, document the results, and clear your mind.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll go home with a good toolkit and a clear roadmap to approach your next challenging conversations in a structured way and with greater confidence.

This workshop will be recorded and will be available for 3 days afterward.
