University Sports Festival 2026

On June 3, the Zittau campus will be transformed into a lively sports and adventure area! You can expect a varied afternoon full of exercise, fun and a good atmosphere.

It starts at 13:00 with the ceremonial opening of the University Sports Festival and the official inauguration of the Green Classroom. A perfect start to an active day!

It gets sporty until 18:00:

• Compete in exciting tournaments such as street soccer, volleyball, table tennis and darts.
  Registration from 01-03 June by email to sport(at)hszg.de
• A real highlight is the Hochschulstadt company run from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. - followed by a beer tapping ceremony!

But there is also plenty to discover away from the tournaments:
From 13:00 to 18:00, numerous hands-on activities await you:

• The BARMER T-Wall (reaction wall)
• Beer crate stacking with the Zittauer Gebirge adventure climbing forest
• Fitness competition with slope challenge and strength triathlon (Fortschritt Eibau e.V.)
• Soccer darts
• Air rifle shooting
• Bouncy castle & face painting for the little guests
• ...and much more!

Of course, there will be plenty to eat and drink:
Look forward to a barbecue, cool drinks and relaxed beats from the live DJ until 22:00.
