Unfortunately, the event has to be canceled due to illness.
Digitalization is currently a megatrend. Older people and family caregivers tend to be seen as having low digital skills. At the same time, politicians and researchers like to present digital assistance systems as (part of) the solution to the shortage of skilled workers in professional care and the overload in family care. The GAT Institute is researching how technical innovations can be designed through the co-creation of caregivers and engineers in such a way that they can actually contribute to relieving the burden on caregivers and caregiving relatives.
