Zittau/Görlitz University cordially invites you to the 2026 Science and Industry Forum of the German University Consortium for International Cooperation (DHIK). DHIK promotes international higher education partnerships in various countries, particularly in China, Mexico, India, and South Africa. The DHIK Science and Industry Forum 2026 will focus on the significance of international academic professionals for structural change in the region and how their recruitment, integration, and long-term retention can be successfully managed. Representatives from politics, academia, business, and international organizations will come together to discuss talent recruitment, innovation potential, and the future of regions undergoing transformation.
A special highlight of the event will be visits from international guests: among others, a high-level delegation from the Technological Higher Education Network South Africa (THENSA) from South Africa and Namibia will participate in the main program events.
With the DHIK Science and Industry Forum 2026, Zittau will become a hub for international exchange on technological development, securing a skilled workforce, and the future of regions undergoing structural change.
