Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences cordially invites you to the Science and Industry Forum 2026 of the German University Consortium for International Cooperation(DHIK). DHIK promotes international higher education partnerships in various countries, in particular in China, Mexico, India and South Africa. The DHIK Science and Industry Forum 2026 will focus on the importance of international academic specialists for structural change in the region and how they can be successfully recruited, integrated and retained in the long term. Representatives from politics, science, business and international organizations will discuss the recruitment of skilled workers, innovation potential and the future of regions in transition.
A special highlight of the event is the visit of international guests: among others, a high-ranking delegation from the Technological Higher Education Network South Africa(THENSA) from South Africa and Namibia will take part in the central program points.
With the DHIK Science and Industry Forum 2026, Zittau will become a place for international exchange on technological development, securing skilled workers and the future of regions undergoing structural change.
