AAL stands for Ambient Assisted Living—or, to put it simply: a lab with a bed and a TV. As part of a joint project between Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and the housing provider Kommwohnen, an apartment in Görlitz was equipped with nearly every type of assistive technology currently available to make everyday life easier for older adults.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Hoff and Bill Pottharst provide insight into this research project at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
The event is organized by the Saxony⁵ project. Participation is free of charge.
