The central themes of the workshop week are the conscious perception and use of one's own body as well as the realization of inner processes. These are important aspects for any theatrical work, but also for pedagogical professions or in different consulting, training and coaching settings. Various warm ups, sensitizing exercises and an approach to one's own playing possibilities and limits await the participants. Conscious breathing and an introduction to body language are also part of the workshop. The trainer and actress Daniela Schober will guide the participants through this part of the workshop.

Move by move

In this workshop, we will also be working with the train-by-train method as part of our research project "Train by train - a new coaching approach?". However, this is not primarily about exploring the intrapersonal problems of the protagonists, but about exploring the given tableau for its game possibilities. This is the experimental part of the workshop. The Berlin author and theater director Andreas Neu will lead this part of the workshop.

Self-awareness

The workshop will or must have a high proportion of self-awareness, i.e. the individual transfer or "the result" also depends on the extent to which the individual participants open up or actively participate.

Preparatory course

In order to introduce interested parties to the project and basic techniques, we are offering a preparatory course on six afternoon dates under the direction of communication psychologist and actor Maurice Ittershagen (Bachelor). You will soon find the dates and venue on this website.

KIB Institute Görlitz

The event takes place in cooperation with the KIB Institute in Görlitz. The communication psychologist Jörg Heidig will accompany the process as a feedback provider and supervisor.

Costs

The participant's own contribution is 16 euros per day and person for meals. Accommodation costs are covered by the Makroeigenschaften/Match 3 project.

ATTENTION: The number of participants at the Winter School is limited. If the registration limit is exceeded, preference will be given to participants of the preliminary course!
