AVA (Audio Visual Access) is a streaming provider specifically geared towards libraries and offers a unique selection of European and international arthouse films. Around 800 films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are currently available. In addition, there are several thematic film packages with a formal (e.g. short films, animated films, etc.), regional (e.g. Latin American films) or content-related focus (e.g. films on the subject of migration).

Funding for access to all films has been secured for 2023 and 2024 and can already be streamed now.

Access is via the University Library website → Electronic Media → AVA (Audio Visual Access).
