Approvals are sent out

The application and admissions process is in full swing at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.

“Incoming applications are registered by the Admissions Office and prepared for the admissions process. To date, a total of more than 1,100 admission letters have been sent out for open-enrollment programs and some programs with enrollment quotas,” said Dr. Stefan Kühne, Head of the Division of Academic Affairs and International Relations.

The July 15 application deadline for programs with admission quotas in the Faculties of Social Sciences and Managerial and Cultural Studies has passed. The admission procedures for the so-called NC degree programs have been initiated, and by the second week of August at the latest, all applicants to these programs should have received a decision.

For programs with limited enrollment (NC), applicants must confirm acceptance of their spot by Monday, August 20, 2018, at the latest. Those who have not done so will have their spots reassigned. This means that for all those who have received a rejection, there may still be a chance to be considered in the waitlist process.

Particularly attractive to prospective students are the very new degree programs Economics and Computer Science, Economics and Languages , as well as the newly designed programs in automation and mechatronics, electrical power systems, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, applied natural sciences as well as Industrial Engineering .

However, please also note the other engineering, natural science, and business programs, such as Molecular Biotechnology, Ecology and Environmental Protection, computer science, Business Administration and Housing and Real Estate Management. Demand for qualified graduates from Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences remains strong, particularly in these fields.
