Prof. Kristan Schneider

He is Professor of Modeling and Simulation at the Faculty of Applied Computer and Life Sciences at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. Prof. Schneider deals with mathematical population genetics. In his Science Slam lecture "Affenpenise bzw. So funktioniert Evolution" he will present his research results with a wink.

Prof. Uta Kirschten

She is Professor of Human Resource Management at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau. Prof. Kirschten is researching how the world of work is changing as a result of digitalization and what employment and career opportunities women have in companies. In her presentation, she will introduce her research topics on "Equality and women in the digital world of work" to the audience.

Daniel Fiß

His research focuses on transportation and storage containers (castors) designed to hold the spent fuel from nuclear power plants. Mr. Fiß's contribution is intended to bring transparency to these processes and thus cool down the heated debates that the topic of nuclear technology often entails in discussions with expertise.
