Certificate change eduroam network

We must ask all users to set up the eduroam WLAN on their devices again by 02.07.2019, from then on dial-in will only be technically possible with the new configuration!

Dear users,

The eduroam network is a worldwide project that provides university members with free internet access. Each time you connect to an eduroam WLAN, your connection data is transmitted to the HSZG in encrypted form and checked here.

Due to necessary security adjustments (certificate change), it is necessary to change the settings on your devices! With the certificate, your device checks whether it is a verified eduroam WLAN and prevents the transmission of your data to third parties.

We must therefore ask all users to set up the eduroam WLAN on their devices again by 02.07.2019, from then on dial-in will only be technically possible with the new configuration!

For a simple and secure changeover, please use the updated eduroam CAT configuration assistant.

We ask for your understanding for this measure, it is necessary due to the participation in the Eduroam network and the associated security requirements.

Thank you!
