In this context, the position holder’s responsibilities include, in particular, the following tasks:

• Supporting the faculty leadership in strategic development:

  • Strategic development of teaching and research priorities in the field of law, as well as cooperation with organizations,

  • Developing administrative processes and a faculty-specific monitoring system,

  • Supporting the internationalization strategy of the Faculty of Social Sciences,

• Teaching (seminars, internships) amounting to up to 4 LVS:

  • Teaching the fundamentals of the relevant areas of law for the degree programmes in the Faculty of Social Sciences,

  • Supervision of practical study phases as part of courses for the recognition of foreign degrees,

The following knowledge and skills are required:

• a completed degree in law (MA, Diplom, or equivalent [university] or the first state law examination), and, if applicable, a Ph.D.,
• good written and spoken English skills.

In addition, the following are desirable:

• experience in university teaching or adult education,
• continuing education in the field of pedagogy,
• knowledge of university-related structures and processes, as well as experience in networking, committee work, and public relations.
