The aim of the trip, organized by the German University Consortium for International Cooperation (DHIK), was to gain a variety of impressions of local university life, experience Mexican culture, cuisine and history up close and gain new perspectives on international exchange. The participating students also took the opportunity to find out in detail about the possibility of a double degree. In addition, the program offered exciting insights into economic structures and contacts with local companies.
Good contacts were made with the local teaching staff and the International Office. Gifts from the university were also presented. The mdhk 2026 winter school was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Students from 37 German universities can apply for this exceptional program every year. The Winter School in Mexico takes place annually and requires a participation fee of 1,000 euros (as of 2026).
